Medifast, Inc. announced today that it has chosen 10 winners of the 2006 Medifast Star contest. The contestant's stories will be the highlight of the companies new advertising campaign, which will begin later this fall and throughout 2007.

Thuxoan Tsang, Medifast contest winner who dropped 6 dress sizes on the Medifast program says, "My husband, who is an OB/GYN, and I researched the Medifast plan and philosophy. He liked the fact that the plan did not deprive me of carbs, proteins, fats or nutritional supplements, just calories. Each week, I lost 2-4 pounds! I found that it was a no-brainer to follow the diet."

The contest winners are currently visiting Medifast headquarters and filming the Company's new ad campaign. During their visit, the winners are also enjoying some pampering from the company. Winners received a shopping spree with a fashion consultant, a makeover and events hosted by the Medifast corporate staff. 10 winners were chosen from hundreds of applications from satisfied Medifast clients.
