Medifast, Inc. announced today that Michael McDevitt, President and CFO, will make a presentation at the 26th annual Canaccord Adams 2006 Summer Seminar on August 10th at 9:30 a.m. at the Boston Marriott Wharf Hotel in Boston, MA.

The presentation will highlight the Company's dynamic distribution channels including its direct-to-consumer, network marketing and clinic models. The three-day conference takes place in Boston, August 8-10 with the theme, "Ideas are the Engine of our Business."

The conference will focus on companies poised to shape the growth market in the years ahead in key sectors. The Canaccord Adams Annual Summer Seminar is one of the oldest and largest programs showcasing both publicly traded and privately held growth companies.
