Medifast, Inc. announced today unaudited revenue for its 2004 fiscal year for the period ended December 31, 2004 and revenue for the month of January 2005. The Company expects to report full-year 2004 revenue of $27.4 million, an increase of 7.8% versus fiscal year 2003 of $25.4 million. The Company generated $2.8 million in revenue for January 2005, an increase of 27% versus the same month in 2004 when the Company posted revenue of $2.2 million.

"Many of our new initiatives; our Web Marketing and Advertising programs, our Hi-Energy Corporate Clinics, our Take Shape for Life "Tasting Programs" and our recent product launch on a national cable television channel, have generated significant new revenues for our products. We are optimistic that we will resume our strong growth in 2005."

The Company expects to release audited fourth quarter results and provide guidance for 2005 when it announces its financial results Monday, March 14.
