Medifast Inc., announced today that Take Shape for Life, Inc. (TSFL), its wholly owned subsidiary and NovaCare Rehabilitation, a division of Select Medical Corporation, have signed a joint Marketing Agreement in an effort to provide weight and disease management solutions to NovaCare's patients. Under this Agreement, which is initially 18 months, Medifast expects to market its products to a minimum of 200 of NovaCare's clinics. Medifast expects this Agreement to generate significant revenues for its Take Shape for Life division.

"This marketing agreement will provide significant distribution opportunities for our products," said Bradley T. MacDonald, President and CEO of Medifast. "We believe that this new distribution channel will give us access to thousands of patients that rely upon NovaCare for rehabilitation."

Initially, NovaCare will have custom created retail kiosks in outpatient rehabilitation centers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. The kiosks will include Medifast product information, before and after pictures, testimonials and encouragement from celebrity sportscaster and Medifast coach Dick Vitale. Through the Take Shape for Life Health Institute, NovaCare staff will be equipped with the appropriate tools and knowledge to successfully advise patients on the Medifast program.

We are excited about the opportunity to establish Medifast products within a network of Rehabilitation centers."
